MADMAX ‘R6’ Race Quad

Many of you will know of team MADMAX’s success on the Guernsey hill climb and twisty sprint, with our specially prepared 480cc bigbore Yamaha-450 race quad. We upped the anti near the end of 2014, with a special 600cc Yamaha bike engine R6 powered Raptor for the North Beach Twisty sprint.  The engine is capable of giving 125hp at the crank. It does 105mph on the straight and has fantastic acceleration. Without anti-roll bar the handling is very precarious, with lots of two wheel action, but this makes for an entertaining ride for spectators, so we only use the anti-roll bar on track events.
