MADMAX Turbine bike ‘sand racer’

560hp on sand is not helpful for traction. A turbine is also like a giant hoover, that did a good job sucking up the sand, as well as tons of ‘salt water’ air. We had great fun, but after 141 mph in a standing mile, the Rolls Royce C20B turbine wasn’t happy, having sucked up too much sand and salt spray. The turbine was making some funny noise, so we put it back in the van with a new ‘Omega’ record @ 141mph.
